Images not sending from the app

Images not sending from the app

Over time, your Gallery app can be overflowing with cached images like album art, icons, or other unwanted thumbnail images. All the cached images and files can potentially make your Gallery app corrupted or crashed, ending up with Gallery not showing pictures but displaying grey or black squares only.

This can also cause the pro-Forms app not to send images that should be sent as part of a form. The knock-on of that is that form triggers will not run until all images that are part of a form have been received by our system. After applying the fix below, go to the Send Log in your pro-Forms app and resend any images with a red cross next to them. Once sent and received, form triggers (showing 0/1 triggers sent) should send, if not, they can be manually resent from the View Submissions screen and clicking on the Triggers icon to the very right of the row of affected submissions.

If this is your case, the fix below will help recover the missing pictures in Gallery from Android by forcing the app to turn off and clearing cache. Here's a short guide :

  1. Open Settings app on your device (not in the pro-Forms app) and scroll down to find and tap Apps option.
  2. Scroll down to choose Gallery from the resulting list.
  3. Go to Storage. If your Gallery app is corrupted or frozen, you'll need to tap Force stop to shut it down first.
  4. Choose Clear cache button located on the bottom right corner. Then, restart your phone and see if the missing photos appear on Gallery app.
