My Dropbox Triggers aren't running

Occasionally a Trigger set to run to deposit forms into a Dropbox folder will stop running. This can be due to the Dropbox token expiring and needing to be refreshed.

The token provides 'permission' for pro-Forms to send files to the Dropbox system.

Refreshing the token is straightforward and requires you to sign out and back in again to reconnect to Dropbox.

  1. Go to Forms - home
  2. Click to open the form with the trigger issue
  3. Click on Share on the top menu and see the trigger list. There will be one with the Sharing Method set to Dropbox
  4. Click the pencil on the right of the Dropbox trigger to edit it
  5. Click the red 'Sign Out' button (see below) and the sign in again
  6. In View Submissions in the Forms main menu on the left, manually re-run any failed Dropbox triggers.
