How to duplicate a form

Duplicating a form

To duplicate an existing form :

  • From the left hand main menu of the Work Group click on 'Forms - home'.

  • In the top centre of the screen (above the list of existing forms) click on '+ Add Form'.

  • From the pop-up select whether the new form is to be an Online form or a Mobile form.

  • Give the new form a name.

  • Drop down the 'Use as template' box and select the existing form you wish to duplicate.

  • If you wish to add the newly duplicated form to either an existing Category or Project you can select these from the 2 other dropdown boxes.

  • Ticking the 'Send email when a form submission is made' box will set up a simple Trigger to notify of a new form submission with the notification being sent the email address of the pro-Forms® user account from the new form has been set up.

  • If you want the Triggers from the form template selected also to be copied to the new form being set up tick the box 'Copy triggers from the template form'.

  • Please note that we recommend you review the copied triggers to ensure you are happy where and to whom the data for the newly created form will be sent. This could cause a potential breach of GDPR Regulations if not checked and/ or amended accordingly.
